MUSIC OF THE SPHERES
Working with poet John Row, OCP will work with prisoners to create a musical & lyrical performance inspired by the exploration & imagination of space in classical/popular music & culture. Using real instruments, recordings of planets/outer space & spoken word and recordings of scientists made earlier in the project. The work will simulate the imagined songs from the universe. Culminates in a live concert performance for prisoners and guests, professional high quality recording for broadcast on National Prison Radio, and audio CD as a legacy resource.
